Bishop’s Waltham Lifesaving

Our lively lifesaving sessions run on a Wednesday evening from 8pm, and on Friday evenings from 7pm.

Within the classes, we look at the Royal Lifesaving Society’s Rookie Lifeguard and Survive and Save programmes, offering a variety of awards and achievements. Our Junior Lifesaving session is aimed at ages 8 and above, with our Senior Lifesaving for ages 12 and upwards, each offering the chance of “something different” in the swimming pool!

How about a game of giant lifesaving jenga? Or perhaps learn to throw a rope in record time, all whilst learning the vital skills needed to be able to save someone’s life, and keep yourself and others safe around water!

We run as a rolling program, with our lifesavers taking awards as and when they are ready. And what’s more, our awards count towards the Duke of Edinburgh scheme.

Due to the popularity of our sessions, please get in touch with Hannah to check class availability. Details are available to download here Senior Lifesaving Flyer and Junior Lifesaving Flyer
